80 mile and Broome sea shell collecting trip

we leave on monday the 8th october 2007 until sunday the 14th october

you can either drive up with us or arrange your trip to fly into port hedland the day before we arrive

PLEASE LET US KNOW WELL BEFORE SO WE CAN DO ALL THE ARRANGEMENTS EMAIL IS BEST merv@perthshells.com

collectors to fly into Pt Hedland airport - we will arrive approx 7 pm after a 16 hour drive ........will be overnighting in cooke point caravan park pt hedland
Leave pt hedland NEXT DAY AROUND NOON after buying provisions travel to hilton and set up camp drink time aprox 4 pm spend 4
nights at the hilton...a shell collectors dream spot

shell collecting - crabbing - fishing - picking 100s off shells of the beach

the collecting is best after a cyclone (so start hoping for it to happen)

travelling on the beach on our 4 wheeler motorbike with trailer to move people up and down the beachs.............
COLLECTORS CAN COLLECT kilometers apart

leave the hilton (depending on our results) lunch time to beat the high tides and then travel back to port hedland

we then do a couple of tides in and around port hedland
drive home THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE

cost of trip $1200 aussie as long as we end up with 6 or more people

cost of trip $1500 per head if 3 or less come

deposit of $500 to be paid by 1st september 2007
all you have to bring is suntan lotion-sandshoes-insect repellant we have

repellants with us but some people like there own

we should not encounter any insects

you will have to purchase your own drinks beer etc we will have cordial and lots of cold water as we take a freezer with us

bring a big bag for your treasues

the trip may depend on us having a cyclone before we go ....start praying for a good cyclone

bring a friend

limited supply of cool drinks

we will have a 4 wheel motorbike with us to move people around over large areas....because we have very large sand bars in west aussie
